in one breath

We keep your email and, if you share it, your training goal, so we can tell you when Artie is ready and decide which goals to support first. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use tracking cookies. Email hello@artiecoach.com and we'll remove you.

Who we are

Artie is a running-coach app in development at artiecoach.com, run by Nork Advisory LLC, doing business as howitships. You can reach us at hello@artiecoach.com.

What we collect when you join the waitlist

  • Your email address.
  • Your training goal, if you choose one (5K or 10K, half marathon, marathon, ultra, or running more consistently). It's optional.
  • How you found us: the campaign tag in the link you followed (like "reddit"), the referral code if a friend shared their link, the website that sent you, and which page and form you signed up on.
  • Your country, worked out from your connection when you sign up. We don't store your IP address.
  • When you signed up.

That's everything. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no training data yet.

What we use it for

  • Emailing you about Artie: when it's ready to try, and occasional updates before then.
  • Deciding what to build first, from which goals are most common.
  • Learning which places we've posted about Artie actually reach runners. We look at these counts in total, not person by person.

Who else handles it

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the waitlist. Like any web host, it processes requests to show you the page.
  • Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so Google sees a request from your browser when the page loads.

We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or put tracking or advertising cookies on the site.

How to be removed

Email hello@artiecoach.com from the address you signed up with and say "remove me." We'll delete everything we hold about you within 7 days and reply to confirm. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or for a correction.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove you, or until we stop working on Artie. If Artie doesn't launch, we'll delete the waitlist.

When the app launches

This page covers the waitlist only. The Artie app will need more, such as your running history from Garmin, to build your plan. We'll update this policy, and tell everyone on the waitlist, before the app collects any of it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use what you've already given us, we'll email you first.
